Greetings and Salutations, Internet.

This isn’t exactly my first post, but a little bit about me.

I’ve always been interested in writing. I decided that my talents for being nosy and doing FBI-like research, plus my love for expressing myself through writing would make me a pretty okay journalist. I know that I’m not the best, but I believe that this is an opportunity to help me improve and document my progress.
This is a space for me to talk about current events and express my opinions. This blog will mainly consist of social commentary and my journey through college and later, if I continue, my life in general. I’m currently attending a community college, getting my transfer associate's in journalism and women’s studies.
Okay, now for the fun stuff. I’m an aries sun with an aquarius moon and a leo rising. No I’m not okay, yes I am a mess. My hogwarts house is ravenclaw, my D&D alignment is Chaotic Neutral, and my MBTI Personality type is INTJ-T.

That’s all I can think of currently! I just wanted to get this out there.

This particular conversation began with me minding my own business, as most unwanted conversations do. It began with him asking “So how do you know you’re a lesbian?” being polite, I told him a brief version of my story, hoping he meant well and was just curious. My unfortunate mistake. The next question he asked me made me realize I should have given him a one sentence answer and kept it pushin’. “So, since I really just want to argue today, what do you think about white privilege?” I didn’t hold back, I had been waiting for a peer of mine ...
